SlabHaul ("we," "our," or "us") is operated by Velocity Venture Holdings. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and share information when you use the SlabHaul mobile application and website (collectively, the "Service").

Information We Collect

Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address and authentication credentials. If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your name and email from those providers.

Usage Data: We collect information about how you use the Service, including features accessed, lakes viewed, and trip logs you create.

Location Data: With your permission, we collect your device's location to provide lake-specific conditions, weather data, and navigation to fish attractor locations. You can disable location access in your device settings.

Device Information: We collect device type, operating system version, and app version for troubleshooting and improving the Service.

How We Use Your Information

• Provide and maintain the Service, including real-time lake conditions and attractor maps
• Personalize your experience with location-specific data
• Process your subscription and manage your account
• Send you important updates about the Service
• Improve the Service based on usage patterns
• Respond to your support requests

Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase (hosted on AWS). We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit and at rest. Authentication is handled through secure OAuth protocols.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to provide the Service:

• Supabase — Authentication and data storage
• Open-Meteo — Weather data (no personal data shared)
• USGS Water Services — Water level data (no personal data shared)
• OpenStreetMap — Map tiles (no personal data shared)
• Formspree — Waitlist email collection

Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Trip logs and analytics data are retained for your benefit and can be deleted at your request. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Export your trip log and catch data
• Opt out of non-essential communications

Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
