These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the SlabHaul mobile application and website (the "Service") operated by Velocity Venture Holdings ("we," "our," or "us"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

To access certain features, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

2. Subscriptions and Billing

SlabHaul offers free and paid subscription plans. Paid subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or our web platform. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Refunds are handled according to Apple's refund policies for App Store purchases.

Fish attractor locations provided in the Service are sourced from state wildlife agencies and other public sources. While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee that all locations are current or that structures remain in place. Attractor locations are provided for informational purposes only.

5. Weather and Water Data

Weather forecasts, water level readings, and other environmental data are provided by third-party sources (Open-Meteo, USGS, state agencies). This data is provided "as is" and we make no guarantees of accuracy or timeliness. Always check official sources and use good judgment when making safety decisions on the water.

6. AI-Powered Features

Features including bait recommendations and thermocline predictions use computational models and AI. These are decision-support tools, not guarantees. Fishing success depends on many variables beyond what any app can predict.

7. Safety Disclaimer

SlabHaul is a fishing intelligence tool, not a navigation or safety device. Always prioritize personal safety on the water. We are not responsible for any injuries, property damage, or other harm that may occur while using information from the Service. Always wear appropriate safety gear, check weather conditions from official sources, and follow local boating regulations.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, and content, is owned by Velocity Venture Holdings. Your subscription grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes.

9. User-Generated Content

Trip logs, catch data, and other content you create remain yours. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store and process this content to provide the Service's features. We will not share your personal fishing data with other users without your consent.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through the app settings or by contacting support. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SlabHaul and Velocity Venture Holdings shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Tennessee.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
